Certified Smoke Extraction System for Cold Rooms

Complete system for natural smoke extraction from cold rooms, designed in compliance with the UNI 9494-2 standard. The system includes a control panel capable of managing the automatic or manual opening (via remote push-button panel) of the smoke evacuation dampers installed at the top of the cold room, as well as the air intake dampers located at the bottom.

Forced smoke extraction is ensured by F600/F400 certified extractors, capable of operating in high-temperature environments for at least 120 minutes, as required by current regulations.

OPERATION

In the event of a fire, the system receives an activation signal from the smoke detection system or from a manual command. The control panel opens the upper smoke extraction dampers to allow hot smoke to escape, while simultaneously opening the lower dampers to enable the intake of replacement air.

Components of the FUMO VENT COLD ROOM System

F400/F600 Extractors
Certified fans designed to operate in high-temperature conditions (400°C for 120 minutes or 600°C for 120 minutes), ideal for forced smoke evacuation during a fire. They are essential for ensuring safety in the initial stages of the event, helping to contain and extract hot smoke.
Cold Room Damper
An opening/closing component installed at the top or bottom of the cold room, specifically designed for low-temperature environments (-25°C). Equipped with an EN 12101-2 certified actuator.
Control and Monitoring System
A centralized electronic unit that receives signals from the fire detection system or manual push-buttons and activates the FUMO VENT COLD ROOM system.
Control Panel with Graphic Interface for Manual Activation
A control panel with a printed graphic interface, designed for use by Firefighters or Emergency Response Teams during intervention. It allows manual activation of the extraction system on-site, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
